Founded in 2024 by Simon Bouchard-Robert and his nephew Léo Lavoie, Ocean Break Skateboards represents the culmination of lifelong passions. As the head of his local skateboard club, Simon knows firsthand skateboarding’s power as a vector of community and purpose for youth–and less young. When his fourteen-year-old nephew Léo, a skateboarding prodigy from Magog, Québec, suggested starting a line of equipment made 100% in Canada, Simon wholeheartedly backed him up.

Thus was born Ocean Break—skateboards made sustainably at the junction of ocean and land. No matter where you are in life, skateboarding can be a cornerstone to your well-being. Our mission is simple: to make skateboarding accessible to all Canadians, starting in childhood.
